Current progress (1005-01)
Well.. the track are progressing..
adding a short cut midways in the tracks to show the pace and flow.. using much emu, nova and virus together..
and some post process stuff in logic.

Well.. i haven't died or anything.. i have just been busy with other stuff.. anyway..
working on some new stuff... coming back to the sampling and all the fun it gives.
adding two mp3 files of different types of emu pads i am using in my current track
Marias Voice made as an pad on the emu (using regular 4-pole lowpass):

Novation Nova base sound, sampled down to the emu w/o filters and envelopes, then layred and filtered in the emu, using the 2EQ+Lowpass Morph filter:

Both are using the RFX-32 card for reverb and echo effects adding some depth to the sound..

Adding music archive feature to the blog
Well, after looking for a solution to post an archive of old tracks made by my friend Unier and me, i ended up hacking a quick plugin for wordpress. Its now up and running, and the track archive can be accessed by clicking the Music Archive link, on the top of this page. It will list all the tracks in the database.
to use the plugin just upload the tracks in the media library, then in the comment field format the text like this
LIB::< year >::< artist >::< title >::< genere >::< comment >::< rating >
the script will then pick up the track and add it to the archive.
for now its not that many, but stay tuned for update. Unier should upload around 100 tracks from the past .
Testing out Windows 7
There are probably plenty of blogs about this, but i just need to mention it. I had an old laptop laying around (IBM T43), which i installed Windows 7 on, and honestly. This laptop just got a new life .
Dont have a clue about how its with music creation, but i must recon its miles better then vista. Anyway, OS X is my tool when it comes to sequencing. But maybe in the future i can build a pc with windows 7 that i can use with my creamware cards .
My "studio" is a mess atm. Chaning job and stuff leaves my music gear, ideling. Hopefully i will get back as soon as my life goes back to a normal pace.
btw. www.psy-works.net will be ressurected as soon as i get to an new workplace. It was located at my last company workplace.

not been much activity here, much because of all the hard work with TG-demo and track.
but i thought i could add the track here so you could listen .
Its a trancy kind of tune with Maria as vocals.
The Emu is used for beats, and a downsampled nova to the emu is used for bass. Wsa1 for pads, virus b for blips and blops.

Low activity on the blog, due to moving to a new house
We are currently living with packet bags at my parents house. And we are going to continue with that for one more week, before we take over the new house. Monday 2. march.
We er looking forward to this, because it will give us a great increase in space. With a room which i can use for studio/home office. That will be just great for creativity.
TG09 is comming up, and music tasks are stacking up. Needing to create music for combined demo, 4k intro, make some "framework" for the FastIntro. And also build up some sample lib to use on TG, which i can access quickly.
Comming back with more track i hope..
